Man thrown out of Golden Corral for eating over 40 lbs of food

In Upstate New York an Albany man is suing the local all-you-can-eat buffet chain Golden Corral for 1.5 million dollars, citing false advertisement after literally being thrown out of the building for eating over 40 lbs of food.

According to patrons and close friends of the Man, 42 year old Ryan Kush was physically expelled from the restaurant after spending six hours inside the facility. A manager of the Golden Corral, Martin Phillips said the man “ingested between 40 and 60 pounds of food”, primarily all of the “sushi” and “chicken on a stick”, two items which he states cost considerably more for the restaurant chain.

Ryan Kush gave the Tribune his side of things, stating that he is incredibly insulted and will not back down from his lawsuit.

I am a paying customer and Mr. whatever his name is, is backpedaling on his all-you-can-eat promise. I’m positive he had more chicken back there too. He was hiding it from me.

Mr. Kush had a twinkle in his eye as he recounted his event, but clearly there was false advertising on the part of the Golden Corral. After 5 hours the restaurants manager says that is when he started working on the customer to wrap up his meal and exit the facility.

His friends were just sitting there rooting him on. They all were recording him with cell phones like it was a game. He didn’t even go up for more plates, his friends got them for him. Mr. Kush acts like a victim, but I assure you he’s just playing some sick game.

I offered him a full refund plus a gift card if he were to just leave. All we wanted to do is replenish some of our stock. He looks right at me with this sinister look telling me he is still hungry and now he is insulted. He refused to leave. You saw the guy. He’s 400 pounds! You’re damn right my team physically ejected him from the building after this stunt.

Ryan insisted that the manager applied several pressure point moves on his neck and ears in order to get him to stand up before several Golden Corral employees forcefully guided him out the side door. Ryan is insisting monetary compensation to the tune of 1.5 million dollars for the PTSD he is now suffering from the physical and mental assault, as well as the false advertisement.

“I never thought I would be fat shamed” he told the Tribune.

The Golden Corral offered an undisclosed amount to Ryan Kush which was denied before releasing this official statement:

We regret the expulsion of Mr. Kush, as it was the wrong one by a recently terminated franchise manager. Our entire staff has been under a new training protocol on sensitivity and new directives will be rolling out at Golden Corrals near you shortly with a kinder and gentler staff. We also wish to stress that at any Golden Corral you can eat as much as you want with no fear for doing so from us.

The hearing has been adjourned until June 17th so the defense can be awarded more time for Discovery.

  1. Seriously?

  2. Interestingly enough, our family enjoyed supper at Golden Coral, in Panama City, Florida, recently. We had a relatively large party, including several children. The “manager” got more than a little peeved when our meal extended past their “closing time” and he demanded with “shuffle towards the door”. The words closing time are within quotes, as the closing time WAS 9:00 PM and it was adjusted due to Hurricane Michael 8 MONTHS AGO to meet the curfew that was enacted. The waitress explained that the closing time actually is still 9:00 and they haven’t changed the signs yet. Poor management!

  3. I feel for the guy…
The same thing happened to me at the Whole Foods all-u-can-sample hot & cold section of the store.
It wasn’t until I was tossed that they told me that I couldn’t use my fingers to grab the food out of the trays.
    Who would’ve thunk??!

  4. ..

  5. I stopped going to golden corral because the staff is going down hill and the food is just grotesque anymore

  6. Yeah he was fat shamed. He was fat shamed because he is fat and evidently gaining. The restaurant did the right thing. If they removed the manager because of this they are in the wrong.

  7. Golden Corral probably saved this fksticks’ life, which is more to say than the simpleton ‘friends’ of his who reveled the food fiasco
