Saudi woman dies after husband leaves her in hot car with windows up

Medina – Saudi Arabia. A 12 year-old woman was left in a 1994 Pontiac Bonneville at a downtown hummus Factory for 8 hours today, resulting in her death.

The Saudi Arabian authorities state twelve-year-old old Fetite Hannoush died of heat stroke and Hyperthermia after spending almost nine hours locked in her husband’s car on a day where temperatures reached a scorching 110 degrees outside.

Her husband told authorities that he was running late for his shift at Global hummus, a popular hummus Factory and did not have time to drop the young Bride off at home like he usually does.

The photo listed above shows the struggle as pedestrians took photos and watched her as she stripped naked in an attempt to beat the heat before succumbing to her fate. The young bride was seen dousing herself with juice boxes left for her in the car by her husband to lower her core temperature, and even in this extreme heat the rain shower was not enough to save her. When asked why no one helped save her the consensus was unanimous: Don’t interfere with another mans spouse.

The temperatures were recorded to be over a hundred forty degrees in the 1994 Pontiac Bonneville, a literal hot box that she wouldn’t have survived in even with plenty of water. Her husband takes full responsibility stating that he should have crack the Windows like he usually does when he goes to the racetrack to see his “favorite horse”, two step too. A somber widower had this to say:

My wife wasn’t even old enough to drive anyway. I do not know what they expect honestly. I am sorry I forgot to crack the window. But I did leave juice boxes in the car which really should of been sufficient for hydration. If she was stronger and healthier this would not of happened. She was part to blame too.

Local authorities state no charges will be brought up against the husband of the late Hannoush, because her death was ruled an accident — only that he should be more careful with his “next wife”.

Every year thousands of people die of Hyperthermia from being left in hot cars, but it’s usually elderly and toddlers who suffer this fate.

While many Saudi women now recently won the ability to drive, they often choose not to for fear of being caught in public alone without their husbands, and the punishment that often accompanies it.
