Guardians of the Galaxy and Jurassic World star Chris Pratt will play Mario in Nintendo’s upcoming animated Super Mario movie, which will release in cinemas during “holiday 2022”. But not if Italy citizens have their way.
Italian Police body camera footage from the scene outside the Italian Historical society on Sept. 20 was released this week that was, shocking, to say the least.
Wednesday left at least 82 people hurt by various injuries and tear gas fired by the police, in clashes after a new day of a āF**k Chris Prattā that was mostly peaceful.
On one video a man identified as “The Italian Stallion” on Reddit, can be seen berating law enforcement and attempting to push over the metal barricades outside the historic building to do what he says is “bring the sausage”.
The man, wearing a blue Mario hat, a Mario Tanooki, wielding a hammer was visible in five short clips apparently from body-worn cameras.
“He isn’t italian, Isn’t that race appropriation?” The station roared as he smashed his hammer against the curb.
In the background you can see an ice cream truck tipped over, and flames erupting from the engine compartment. It’s getting bad out here on the brink of night number two, as the police deploy their first of several tear has canisters.

“It’s ridiculous when they cast white actors for roles meant for a person of color, .especially such a roll as Mario, which I believe should have gone to Ron Jeremy.”
“This is disgusting. When I first saw the posters, I thought to myself “Wow, that’s some REAL poc justice…” I am absolutely repulsed by this casting call. White- washing these characters is unacceptable and disrespects a culture that has been ravaged by Caucasians already!”
“Mainstream media is incorrectly portraying our culture and erasing it with caucasian actors. It is EXTREMELY disrespectful and harmful to practically erase our race from normal culture.”
“I was excited to see the movie until I saw that Mario was white. Won’t be taking my family to see another film that whitewashes it’s cast.”
