Giants MetLife Stadium “we had to go $25 for a hot dog”

MetLife Stadium East Rutherford New Jersey – home of the New York football Giants and the J-E-T-S Jets Jets Jets announced a policy change this week charging an absurd amount for food, drinks and more at the already overpriced Stadium.

Associate executive of Stadium sales and distribution Michael McCarthy had this to say:

We were once quite wishy washy about raising the prices on slushies, beer and pretzels, but we decided to roll the dice and see just how much our customers are willing to shell out to have a better, more enriched experience and we were not disappointed.

The additional Revenue enable us to have more security to ensure there is no illegal smuggling of snacks or booze into the compound. It’s a win-win for everyone.

In addition to the new $25 price tag for a hot dog, bottles of water carry a $17 price. Traditional cheeseburgers are $45 a piece while cheesesteaks will run you $62.50 but that does include your choice of one relish or mustard packet. There is an upcharge for steak sauce.

Men’s urinals now require a credit or debit card swipe however the first 15 seconds are on the house. At which time a plexiglass cover seals off the “splash zone”. Keep in mind the Plexi bevels out ensuring that the urine bounces back onto the non payers pants or sneakers to shame them for stealing services.

There’s also a $2 Saquon charge where fans in the stands are charged every time they say the name “Saquon Barkley”.

Michael McCarthy added:

We’re not monsters just trying to capitalize. When the morons, ahem, patrons, started paying $15 for a 10 oz cup of piss warm Coors Light we knew we could totally dictate future concessions without fail.

Daniel Barron a lifelong Giants fan of 41 years says:

sure $62 for a Cheesesteak sounds like a lot, but where else can you watch the third best team in the NFL East light it up eight times a year while munching on some good food? You’re actually saving money doing it this way!.”

MetLife stadium is also creating Metbux, the system that earns you points whenever you make a purchase at the stadium. Points can then be used to lower insurance premiums for all MetLife subscribers. Metbux is rolling out January of 2020.
