American Airlines launched a wide range of sedation kits earlier this week in hopes to subdue younger passengers and reduce unwanted horseplay, kicking, screaming and other destructive behavior during the flights.
These kits also range for those full-size adults who struggle with behavior issues.
The airline company in an official announcement today States:
we believe our kits are welcomed by just about everybody who flies the friendly Skies. The fast-acting kit which starts off at roughly $150 for a one-hour dose, will render the client unconscious creating a more zen like experience for our passengers.
A frequent flyer Mike Patterson says:
Its about time. Last night this little turd kicked my seat every minute for 2 hours straight, and when the fatty wasn’t getting at me he was crying for candy. He ruined my flight and I was exhausted for My Best Friend’s Wedding. The American Airlines sedation kit is going to be a godsend.
The sedation kits can be split between as many passengers as needed so the odds of spending only a few dollars is high, as other passengers are likely to agree and chip in.
Each kit will contain one syringe with benzodiazepine or a cloth and small amounts of chloroform depending on how willing the passenger is to agree to treatment.
Our passengers priority and safety is paramount to us, so the needs of the many outweigh the few. If someone is going off the rails and in the air, well, everything will be made right. After 1 hour if the passenger awakes and continues to be unruly he will be sedated for the duration of the flight from there on forward at no additional cost to the other passengers.
The kits have rolled out on selective flights and should be available on All American Airline flights by the end of this summer.
