After 30 years in prison for sexual abuse of the mentally retarded — Jenny Curran is pardoned by President Trump.

More than 30 years ago a scandal that shocked the nation is finally getting some closure as Donald Trump pardoned Jenny Curran from Bedford Womens State Prison today after pressure to reform prison by Kanye West and Kim Kardashian.

For those unfamiliar with the story Miss Curan had a shaky criminal past pocketed with drug use… but wound up doing hard time after being arrested and charged with sexually abusing a ward of the state, criminal drug use, 14 counts of prostitution and three counts of knowingly infecting her clients with HIV and gonorrhea.

In the end it was faking her own death to collect on a 1.2 million dollar life insurance policy which reulsulted in the near life sentence.

Donald Trump had this to say about the specific pardon:

Our landmark legislation will give countless current and former prisoners a second chance at life and a new opportunity to contribute to their communities, their states, and their nations.

But I wanted to do a little more for Miss Curan here who would not be eligible for release under the new prison reform due to her past crimes. She is my fifth and very well last pardon. She’s been a model inmate while incarcerated and I really do wish her the best. Her story is a tough one of the American people. God speed Miss Curan.

Upon her release several activists were forming in protest, suggesting she serve her term in prison. One protester Marianne Snyder had this to say:

That young man that she molested was my cousins best friend. His brain never developed out of childhood. He pretty much went through the whole life with the view of a child.

Not to mention he has a rare case of autism known as Asperger’s. So, wow, it’s pretty f**ked that Miss Curran took him to bed. That’s rape, right? At least statutory. She needs to rot in prison for what she did. Instead we glorify her. Shame on Trump.
